Title
An Introduction to Qualitative Inverse Scattering
Host

Description

In this talk, we will consider recovering an unknown scattering object and/or its material parameters from measured data. In particular, we will be interested in qualitative reconstruction methods as well as associated inverse spectral problems. We will discuss some analytical and computational results that show what can be recovered and how numerically to recover the object or estimate the material properties. The talk will be informal and accessible to all graduate students.
